Dear
Sir/Madam

are one of the key people/organizations in your town
who/that have been identified as being likely to be
interested in assisting this community project.
We
seek your support to establish a permanent long distance
walking and cycling trail - THE GOLDEN TRAIL
- from Robe to Bendigo , that follows the route of the

through having national and international visitors to
your town and region.
The
trail will:
be approx. 500 km long and cater for a broad range of
user groups
take about 30 days to walk from start to finish (and
considerably less for cycle tourers), though it can
be walked in numerous shorter segments.
use existing town services, eg food, transport and accommodation
provide additional accommodation, eg, in remoter areas.
aim to be an iconic walk trail
link 16 rural towns and cities.
What

seek to identify key people in your town who are champions
- people who can see the potential in this project for
both participants and communities, who understand the
importance of developing and maintaining personal and
professional relationships in community projects like
this, who through their passion can motivate and organize
others, who are a good team member and achieve results
. We want action people.
Are
you that person?
Can
you forward this information to those that are, or complete
